This is seriously one of the best books of 2012!! Cinder is a retelling of the fairytale Cinderella but with a completely unique plotline.I was hooked from the beginning till the end.It tells us the story about Cinder,a famed mechanic of New Beijing,who is part cyborgand as we eventually find out part Lunar alsoThe Commonwealth i.e. the country that she lives in is under the threat of being attacked by Queen Levana-ruler of the Lunars, the people of moon.She is the evil queen and wants to marry Prince Kai(the soon-to-be emperor of the Commonwealth) and consequently capture the earth.This is a very beautiful story with sci-fi in the mix.I am now eagerly waiting for Feb 2013 when Book 2-Scarlet comes out!!
